Monitoring Resources
Resource Monitoring for Stack Console
Stack Console's Resource Monitoring is an opt-in service that enables real-time tracking of resource utilization for your Instances within the Stack Console. This service collects and displays key performance metrics, helping you assess availability, reliability, and overall system efficiency.
- To monitor resources, go to the Usage Graphics tab.
- The Usage Graphics Page provides a comprehensive overview of all virtual machines.
Network Traffic
The Network Traffic Chart visually represents data flow across a network over time. Use this chart to monitor network performance, identify traffic patterns, and troubleshoot network-related issues.

Disk I/O (Read/Write)
The Disk Read/Write Chart displays storage operations over a specific period, tracking data read from and written to disk. This is useful for analyzing disk performance, diagnosing storage bottlenecks, and optimizing resource allocation.

Memory Usage
The Memory Usage Chart provides insights into how much RAM your system is utilizing over time. Use it to monitor memory consumption trends, identify potential memory leaks, and optimize memory allocation for performance improvements.

CPU Usage
The CPU Usage Chart illustrates processor utilization over a given period. It includes a time-based graph with CPU usage percentage, insights into system workload and efficiency, and performance monitoring to detect potential bottlenecks.

Disk Read/Writes
The Disk Read and Write Chart offers a graphical representation of storage activity, helping you monitor disk performance, detect read/write imbalances, and assess the health of storage subsystems.

Conclusion
By utilizing these visualizations within the Stack Console, you can gain real-time insights into system performance, proactively address potential issues before they impact operations, and optimize resource utilization for better efficiency. Stay informed and maximize the performance of your Instances with the Resource Monitoring service on the Stack Console.
